I bought a new PSU to replace the bad one in a friends PC. The new PSU had a 8 port CPU plug, but it wouldnt fit on the 4port on the board because a capacitor was right next to it... i was able to just plug one of the 4 port plugs on this adapater on both ends and boom it worked.. very handy!!
