I bought two of these cables because I have an iPad and an iPhone and the cables that come with them are very short. After about a week of use, the first one stopped working. I was happy that I had the second one, but a few days ago (about 4 months after the purchase) the second one stopped working as well. I can get it to charge if I hold the cable in a certain way, but that's not acceptable for regular use. I will look for higher quality cables.
