Product Description
SATA is the fast new standard in computer bus technology (the bus refers to parts of the system that transfer data). So while you may want a SATA hard drive or optical drive, many PCs on the market still have power supplies that do not conain any or enough power cables to support SATA devices (they use a different kind of power plug than the older devices). You can easily add this cable adapter to your one of your computer's Molex connectors and be able to provide power for up to 2 SATA drives.2-Port SATA Splitter Power Cable (2 x 15-Pin) Review
the product isn't exactly rocket science. Unless the worker was drunk the day he put yours together, not much can go wrong with it. It's some wires and plastic, nothing special. However, I paid for expedited shipping when I ordered mine. Expedited shipping is about 4 times the cost of the actual product I paid for. Then I waited. Waited longer. Waited 7 days to get my wires and plastic. I wouldn't complain if it were 1969. But, I occasionally fly from San Diego to Atlanta and I can tell you it don't take 7 friggin days to do it. In fact it doesn't take 7 hours if there's no delays. My opinion is don't pay for expedited shipping because there is nothing expedited about it except for the money coming off your credit card. If you got plenty of time to wait, order and be happy in the knowledge that you will eventually receive wires and plastic.
