If you're like me and have computer parts from 1980, then this invention is for you. I had about 7 files on every hard drive I wanted to keep....but besides that fact, this thing is awesome. It's a little bit of an eyesore, but if you had an internal usb port you could have a hotswitch slave drive with no problems at all. Turn any HDD into an external drive, it also works well for testing out optical drives too.

The CP2012 chip works well. I used the CD ok on my W2k 32 bit laptop.
I just wish it came with a 6 wire connector so I could power my boards from the 3.3v and 5.0V supply from the adapter -- the 4 pin connector can't reach the serial lines and the 3.3v line at the same time.
