These cables were early usable by me. My motherboard sata sockets are the standard layout that you get with pretty much all motherboards, and when I tried to use 2 of these cables, the 2 connectors were so thick that they hit each other and barely fit after basically being forced into their sockets. I wasn't happy with this at all, so I am not using them.

I bought some different black ones from the same brand that were made properly and I had no problem installing them.
