I wanted black cables to match my black devices, and also needed a longer cable than the stock Apple cable that came with my iPad. These are great cables, especially for the price!!

Each of the five cables comes individually wrapped and is coiled in a CIRCLE rather than a flattened oval. The cable covering is a highly ductile/flexible rubber material. These two things mean that these cables uncoil into an almost perfectly straight condition....a characteristic of high quality cables.

The connections at both ends are also done very nicely, and each is marked with a clear silkscreened symbol (USB and Apple Connector symbols). My favorite feature: no ugly highly visible branding/logos. In fact no logo at all.

Unfortunately, these cables won't charge an iPad. I encountered this issue both with the original iPad charger from Apple and with a Griffin PowerBloc iPad charger. The iPad will make the normal "charging" alert tone, but then the display shows "not charging". I tested two and they both failed. The cables with charg AND sync and iPhone, and will sync the iPad but won't charge it.
