It works fine, it just didn't work for the mission critical application we were attempting to use it in. It requires drivers.. which makes it a complete pain.. and the application that needs to run, at least on windows, runs in the system tray and would sometimes glitch out. we were trying to use 2 usb webcam's streaming simultaneously, so that may have added to complicating the setup but when it worked it worked great.

When you need to exceed the extremely short maximum specified length of USB and there are no alternate options this product works great. If there are alternate product options and you are looking for something mission critical I would recommend avoiding USB altogether, but for recreational or household use, go for it!
