I got the cord/ so I could lay in bed and use my phone and my wife could use her kindle.. however within a weeks time our batteries were having charging issues and my wifes kindle fire was not charging at all.. we plugged in our OEM 5 foot cords and they began to work like they were suppose to..the cords are cheaply made of course you get what you pay for..we are not ruff with our devices but the cords dont hold up to the charging standards.. even if we plugged in our device and tried to use the device while it was plugged in the batteries would die..
