This kit comes with all you need for your own network wiring project including 1000 feet of high quality cat5e bulk cable, 100 RJ45 connectors, an electronic cable tester, and a crimper tool.This Cat5e unshielded cable features 4 twisted pairs of 24 AWG conductors, all twisted at different frequencies to avoid interference or cross talk. The jacket is UL-CM and is approved for in-wall installation. The jacket is also marked at every foot for ease of installation. The cable comes in an easy pull-box. The connectors feature 50-micron gold plating for the most optimal connection. They are unshielded and for solid Cat5e cable, so a perfect fit for this kit. I will be buying this again when I run out. The only things that are not well documented is that the cable is Solid run cable and is not fire rated. Also the cable tester is a very basic model that just checks for miss-wired lines like shorts, opens, and crossed lines. The crimping tool and modular plugs both seem of good quality. If you already have the tools it would likely be better to go for some cat 6 or cat6a.
