Backwards compatible with Category 5 (Cat 5) cable, so you can mix this cable and Cat 5 cable in the same network. Plugs are suitable for use with solid or stranded wire. The spring loaded crimp tool has cushioned plastic grips, a wire/cable cutter, and replaceable blades and crimp dies. The tester is suitable for Cat 6, Cat 5e, Cat 5, and BNC cables and has a two-piece design so that you can test installed cables. The two pieces of the tester snap together for easy transport or storage.
